About Our Founder

David Vitelle

From an early age, David developed a deep connection to forestry, starting his hands-on experience in the field at just 14 years old. His career naturally expanded into firefighting, where he served from 1991 to 2015, gaining invaluable expertise in fire suppression and land conservation. Driven by a passion for forestry and fire safety, he established his own forestry, arborist, and fire suppression company in 1997, building a reputation for excellence in both private and government sectors.

Beyond his professional work, he has been a dedicated mentor, sharing his knowledge with high school students interested in forest and fire ecology, as well as business development. His expertise has also contributed to specialized training programs for government agencies and private industries, ensuring that safety and sustainability remain at the forefront of forestry operations.

When he’s not working in the forests, he enjoys spending time with his family exploring the great outdoors through camping, visiting national parks, and soaking in natural hot springs. A passionate photographer, he captures the beauty of the landscapes he has dedicated his life to preserving, further deepening his appreciation for the land and the work he does.
